TORI has found her furrytail ending!
Congratulations to Louisa & Adrian and their Malamute boy, Frankie on the addition of our beautiful Tori to their family! We can see how they fell head over heels for this divine girl. In fact, we were almost tipping a foster-failure with this one, as her foster Dad, Greg was quite taken with her, as we all were. Greg did a fantastic job of taking care of her though and handing her over to her new family to be loved for the rest of her days. Happy furrytail ending, Tori! E

KYA has found her furrytail ending!
Before we say goodbye to October, we have a few more happy announcements to make, the first of which involves our lovely Akita lady, Kya. Kya has been providing Corinne and her family with entertainment, companionship and comfort during her time in foster care with them. It was no surprise then, when they came to the realisation that they couldn't bear the thought of her being adopted by anyone but them! Happy furrytail ending, Kya!

KURT has found his furrytail ending!
We just had to squeeze in a foster-failure before October ends! When ginger Ninja, Kurt arrived at foster Mum, Teresa's place, she was quick to email to tell us all about this wonderful boy. She wrote, "I wish he was mine!" And now, he really and truly is, so congrats, Teresa! Happy furrytail ending, Kurt!

MADDIE has found her furrytail ending!
Congratulations to Will & family, including senior Husky boy Czar, on their new adoptee! Maddie rode shotgun with Will on a roadtrip up to her new home in Townsville and has now successfully completed her two week trial there, so we are thrilled to make her adoption official. Maddie's foster family, the Robaldos, were such a blessing for her and she made herself very much at home there. We thank them for the love and care they gave her while she was waiting for her forever

ICE has found his furrytail ending!
Mesmerisingly handsome Ice recently had his 11th birthday. We thought long and hard about what an appropriate present might be... what better gift could there be but a forever home? Enter Kyliesha and Lachlan, who helped us fulfil Ice's wish. They're absolutely smitten with him and Ice has slotted into their household like he's always been there. Happy furrytail ending, Ice! I know what you're hearing in your head right now..."Ice, ice baby...dun dun dun dundundun dun..." s

TARA has found her furrytail ending!
We knew without a doubt that Tara would be in high demand...who wouldn't love a cutie patootie that doesn't mind friends of the feline variety? As expected, this pretty lady sure did stir up some interest, but Holly & Liam were the ones selected to be her new Mum & Dad. They and their kitty, Nimbus, have welcomed Tara into their little family with open arms (and paws?). Many thanks to foster peeps, Jo, Damian & Teresa, for being such gracious hosts. We know that this one wa

MAYA has found her furrytail ending!
As expected, Maya was a very popular girl with applicants indeed. However, the lucky ones to welcome Maya into their family were Blake & Maddy, who tell us that little Miss bossy-boots has already taken over their bed. Maya still has some growing to do guys...it might be time to get a bigger bed! As always, we could not have helped Maya on her journey from the pound to her forever home without the valuable help of her foster family, the Harrisons. We thank them for once ag

ATHENA has found her furrytail ending!
Our blue-eyed goddess, Athena, decided that her next adventure lay in the far North. So without any fuss, she headed up to Cairns on a road trip with her new Dad. The Mifsud family, including Collie boy, Sparkey, has fallen head over heels for Athena and she's definitely found her rightful place in a loving home. Thank you to Elliot & Charmaine and Robert & Lisa for fostering Athena while she was waiting for this beautiful conclusion to her rescue story. And many thanks al

ROSCO has found his furrytail ending!
October is proving to be a busy month for adoptions (and we're not done yet!), but this one, out of all of them, makes us the happiest. After all, through no fault of his own, Rosco has been waiting a very, very, VERY long time to be adopted - more than two years, in fact! Jessica had had her eye on him for quite awhile, but the timing was never quite right. When she was finally in a position to be able to adopt him, by some miracle, he was still available. He's now settle
