Donate
We rely on the generosity of donors to help us meet our ongoing costs. All donations, no matter how small, are gratefully accepted. Why not talk to your employer about setting up an automatic deduction from your pay? Would you miss a dollar or two or perhaps the equivalent of a cup of coffee per week?

Volunteer
We often require the assistance of volunteers, in all areas of Queensland, to transport dogs. SHAMROQ rescues dogs from pounds statewide, though our carers are mainly based in and around the Brisbane area. Therefore, long-distance transport may sometimes be required to get a dog to the safety of foster care. Drivers for shorter trips are also needed - perhaps to collect a dog from a local pound or escort them to a vet visit.
​The other area we also need assistance with is performing property checks. Don't worry if you've never done one before. We have a checklist to help you. When we need help with transport or property checks, we'll do a call-out on our Facebook page. Don't forget to 'like' us so you can be kept in the loop!
