ZALAH has found her furrytail ending!!
Zalah proved to be very popular indeed, but the lucky ones to take her home were Helen & Phill and their Husky boy, Noah. Our thanks go once again to the wonderful Robaldo family who have fostered quite a few dogs for us now. Happy furrytail ending, Zalah! Once upon a time there was a fair maiden, her eyes as blue as the brightest of summer day skies, yet her complexion as white as the newly fallen snow in the middle of the coldest winter. She was what you might call a contra

QUINCY has found his furrytail ending!!
Yep, you guessed it...another story of a foster dog who settled in so well that he's become a permanent member of the pack! Ash & Coral and their Husky boys, Ari & Floki have completed their family with the addition of Quincy. Happy furrytail ending, Quincy! There is a quote about us arctics that says “A lot of people are naturally drawn to our stunning looks but we are so much more than that. CRASH has found his furrytail ending!!
At 62kg, Crash lives up to his name. He's a big brute who isn't afraid to throw his weight around! We had some trouble finding him a suitable foster home, as his reputation as a 'lovable jerk' (not uncommon in these arctic breeds that we love!) meant that he was going to be a handful for most people. He hasn't always been the friendliest to other dogs either and tried to lord it over everyone - human and canine. We admit that when Adrian & Louisa put up their hand to foste

OAKEY has found his furrytail ending!!
We may just dub 2019 'the year of the foster fail', since seven out of our eight adoptions so far for the year have occurred when foster families couldn't part with their 'temporary' guest! (And it looks like yet another four or five foster-failures are in progress, which we look forward to sharing with you all.) We knew pretty quickly after placing Oakey with Colin, Katrina, Michael and Emma that he was the perfect match for them. This big cuddly teddy bear has made himsel

MARLEY (now Ma'ni) has found his furrytail ending!
Marley had quite a difficult time finding a foster home, but when he finally did, he decided that it would be the last home he'd ever have. He was determined to make his foster Mum, Mieke fall head over heels for him...and that's exactly what he did, soon after walking through her door. She was powerless against his handsome Akita charms! Thank you to Marley's sponsors, Alice Springs Nursery. He celebrates his new start to life with a new name, Ma'ni. Happy furrytail endin
