WISH (now Mishka) has found her furrytail ending!

Wish's foster Mum, Sherelle, commented on her adoption profile that she thought Wish would be a 'very loving, loyal girl to whoever adopts her'. Little did she know back then that it would be herself she was talking about! Yes, it's indeed a foster-failure situation (which of course we don't see as an actual failure of any kind!).

So congratulations to Sherelle & Darren and that you to Wish's sponsor, Tara, for her generous support. Wish is now known as Mishka.

Happy furrytail ending, Mishka!

If this were a fairytale, you might get three wishes, but in this story, you only get one. But believe me, that this one Wish is more than enough and the only one you will ever need! Cute as a button, full of energy with a zest for life, this Wish will be sure to make most of your dreams come true. So, you may have guessed, my name is Wish and I am on the hunt to grant one lucky family the pleasure of, well, me! My perfect family could be any combination of people and ages. But there are a few things on my checklist that I wish for. So here goes…. Another doggy friend at home. And not just any dog, but one who matches me in size, wit and playful energy. I’m your regular medium sized Husky, so I would like someone who can keep up with my love of zoomies and tug of war, without being too annoyed at my persistence should they not want to play when I do. You will have to feed us separate though and watch us around toys as sharing is something that I can find hard to do!

I have met some cats, and well they didn’t like it when I chased them and bit them on the tail. I have the scratches to prove it. So, if you have any of them, we will need our own separate areas. I will need a family that is active and enjoys the great outdoors! I go for a run with my foster parents most days and if they are lazy, I go remind them that there is whole big wide world out there and it’s time to go see it! Of course, I am still a husky, so no offlead running, otherwise you are gonna have to run a whole lot more than you bargained for!! I should have been a PT, I tell ya! Keeping me fit and well exercised means that your yard and other items will live to see another day 😉 These little paws of mine can be very powerful when I put my mind to it, so I will need a fence that has no gaps and can’t be dug out under. High jump is not my strong suit though, so as long as they are 5ft and secure, I won’t be going over the top of them. As you can see, I am pretty flexible and love all people, but have a few things that are must haves to keep me safe and happy. Although I am great with everyone, any children in the home will need to be dog savvy, mainly due to my playfulness and the sharing toys thing.
