GEM has found her furrytail ending!!

Stunning Gem with her fox tail and beautiful smile was quickly snapped up by her new Dad, Scott and she has made herself right at home. Thanks go to long-time carers, Nita & Sean.

Don't be fooled by the coat that I got I'm still, I'm still Gemmy from the block Used to have a little, now I have a lot No matter where I go, I know where I came from (from the Pound!) So why the ghetto tunes you say? Well that’s cos my real name is Gemeesha, yep like one of them rap guy’s girlfriends! I don’t let on about that though too much, I would rather Gem like one of those precious stones you find in the very best jewellery. Like a girl from the Block, I got a set of lungs on me and their prime role is to back chat you! If I want to do something or am not impressed with what is going on, them I am gonna tell you about it! Us hood girls can be tricky. We know what we like in our friends and outsiders are not always welcome. I can be picky on other dogs I choose to hang with. I don’t like the little ones and I don’t like the pushy ones. I like to be bossy so if there is another dog in my new digs, I would prefer they like to do things my way and deal with it. If you got lots of time for me, I might settle for a one dog home too. No cats or small pets though, they would definitely get a can of whoop-ass! Back when, before my SHAMROQ days I got into some trouble and broke my elbow. It was never set right so sometimes these days it gives me a little drama, but only after long walks or if I play too hard. The fancy surgeon guy took a look at it and was pretty happy to leave it as is with the way I am able to strut around. Otherwise my perfect new digs will have secure fences over 5ft with no major gaps underneath and any kids in the home are old enough not to annoy me yet dish out the toys and snuggles when I demand them! So what do you reckon, Boo? Think that you got what it takes to hang with Gemmy from the block?
