MOOSE has found his furrytail ending!!

This stunning young man created quite a fuss, with a lot of people envisaging him as a part of their family. However, the lucky ones were Dion, Zoe and their Husky girl, Shanook.

Our heartfelt thanks go to his foster carers, Anita & Sean, who have done a fabulous job, and to Nat, who has been his generous sponsor throughout his time with us.

Happy furrytail ending, Moose!

What do you call a large dog that meditates? Aware wolf! Bahahahaha....

Alright, alright, now that we have broken the ice, let me introduce myself. I'm Moose. Cheeky little red-haired ratbag, Moose. Everyone needs a comic sidekick, right? Can I be yours?

I'm looking for my very own new family. I don't know exactly what type of family that is, but I'll know when I meet them. I'm a little wary when I first meet people and it takes a but of time and patience for the cheeky in me to be revealed but, as long as no-one raises their voice or yells at me, it should take almost no time at all.

For these reasons, any children in the home should be dog-savvy and school-aged or older. Once the inner joker is released there's no putting that back in the box!

I might be a little anxious at first but a Husky is still a Husky! So there shouldn't be any temptations such as cats or pocket pets in my new home. I'm okay with other medium to large sized dogs and currently live with another Husky and Malamute X. It took me a little while to learn how to fit into their group but, once I got the hang of it, we were all good mates.

Whilst we're still on the topic of Huskies and their needs, I have the usual fencing requirements of 6ft high with no gaps underneath. As long as I can get out and about for a daily jaunt with my people and my exercise needs are met, then there shouldn't be any need for me to go and find more excitement. At this point in time I'm happy with a warm bed undercover in the backyard, but I'm sure I could learn to love the odd bit of inside lovin' from time to time. My people are really what puts the wag in this fluffy tail!

Did you hear about the zoo where the only exhibit was a dog? It was a Shih Tzu! Bah-dum-cha! Sorry, couldn't help myself!
