ZEPHYR has found his furrytail ending!

Zephyr has found his furever home!

Happy furrytail ending, Zephyr!

Hmmm...so the meaning of my name is a gentle wind. They know I'm a Husky, right? Look into my eyes and you'll see just the right amount of crazy. Hurricane, Twister, Tornado...these might be more appropriate for a guy as energetic and active as I am!

I've grown up as part of a pack of three dogs and enjoy the sense of security and belonging that another dog brings. I'm friendly, playful and dog-social and love trips to the local dog park. A daily walk or run is a must for me and ball play is a favourite pasttime. Though I have had cruciate surgery on one leg early last year, I am in excellent health and this does not hinder me at all.

My prey drive is extremely high. This means that cats are a definite no-no in my new home. (If we're being completely honest here, swan and kangaroo have been on the menu too when I have found my way out of the yard, so your fencing will need to be 6ft high and secure.)

I have basic obedience already and I'm a quick learner – teach me more! Being housetrained, I love to be wherever you are and would ideally like an owner who has a decent amount of time to hang out with me. Due to past experiences, I cower when I think I'm in trouble. I wait for you to hit me, but in time I'll learn that not everyone thinks that's an acceptable way to teach their dog right from wrong. Praise and encouragement will go a long way. I adore pats and cuddles, though I would be best in a home with older children aged 10 and over.
