ZIMMY has found his furrytail ending!

We are thrilled to announce that Zimmy is living it up in sunny Townsville with new Mum & Dad, Melina & Keith & big sister, Bailey the Golden Retriever! Bailey had been feeling a little lonely since her mate Buster (coincidentally a Husky x Lab like Zimmy!) passed away with cancer. We think Buster would approve of Zimmy making himself at home and helping the family to smile again.

​Big thanks must go to Shannon & family for taking such good care of the Zimster while we was in foster care. There were a few moments there where we weren't sure they were going to be able to part with him! Thanks also to the Heremia-Tarau whanau (family) for sponsoring Zimmy in memory of their beautiful Husky princess, Miss Chompey.

Hiya! Zimmy's the name and I'm looking for a new family to rock my world just as much as I can rock theirs. Just look deep into these chocolate eyes of mine and give me a scratch behind my velvety, floppy ears...you'll soon fall for the sweet boy you see before you.

I've always been an only-child but am very playful and dog-social. Oh, how I'd love another dog-buddy more than anything! The dog park is just about my favourite place to be - I can be my goofy self and enjoy the company of all the other dogs at the same time - yay! I can't be trusted with cats or birds though coz they smell waaaaaaay too yummy *licks lips*...I'm fine with kids but I can get excited and jump sometimes, so primary school aged kids will suit me best.

I've been kept as an outside dog so far, but if you have the time and patience to housetrain me, I'm a quick learner! I already know basic commands like come, sit, stay, down, bed and fetch ball. Clever, aren't I?
