ODIN has found his furrytail ending!

Leanne and Justin approached us recently for advice on who might be a good match for them. They were considering either a Husky or a Malamute, so we put forward several suggestions. However, once they laid eyes on Odin's sweet face, the other dogs ceased to exist! We set up a meet and greet and having been owned by Huskies in the past, they were initially taken aback by just how BIG this boy is. He's part Mal, part horse...all the more to love though, you see? And love him they do...as he has now officially joined their family and is being spoiled rotten. (Ah, that moment that an applicant mentions at their property check that they've already ordered the dog their very own couch...)

Big thanks to Emma for being the best foster Mum that a giant snugglebug could ask for and also to Nat & Kasia, Odin's virtual foster family, for sponsoring him.

Happy furrytail ending, Odin!

I'm told that I share my name with the chief god of Norse mythology. Sounds cool, huh? But then I also hear that he's known as 'The Furious One' and is all about wars and battles, so that's going to be where the similarity ends. I'm a lover, not a fighter.

I enjoy the company of other dogs but can take a little time to warm up to them, at which point I turn into a giant softie. I adore people of all ages and would do best in a home where someone is home more often than not. You see, when I'm feeling a little lonely, I throw my head back and sing a mournful, haunting song. (Actually, I also enjoy woo-wooing along with passing sirens). I like it better when you're around and will greet you with a much happier, more excited fanfare when you get home. My idea of heaven is laying at your feet and snuggling up with you in bed. It goes without saying that I'm house-trained to maximise the time I can spend with you, lapping up your love and attention.

I'm fairly laid-back but enjoy my daily walks and play time. 5ft fences are sufficient to keep me secure as I haven't displayed any jumping or digging behaviours. I have basic training, sitting on command, but would love to learn more - as long as it's accompanied by treats too, of course!
