MALOO has found her furrytail ending!

We forgot an adoption announcement for June! Perhaps it was because we knew in our hearts that she was in her forever home quite some time ago :)

Maloo (affectionately known as Lou-Lou) was adopted last October. However, due to some changes ocurring in her new home, she unfortunately came back into our care 5 months later. There was no question in our minds that Maloo should go straight back to her foster parents, Rhonda & Adam, who had done such a great job of bringing her out of her shell before.

We are true believers that things always work out exactly as they're meant to. Having Maloo return to their household confirmed in Rhonda & Adam's minds that she was indeed meant to be part of their family permanently. Foster brother Rufus and sister Mischa were overjoyed to have their playmate back and it's like the trio have never been apart.

Happy furrytail ending, Maloo!

Hi y’all! I’m Maloo, but my friends also call me LouLou. We’re friends, aren’t we? Well, we certainly will be once you get to know me! Allow me to speed up the process and tell you a little about myself… Quite a special young lady, I have a lot going for me…my super-sweet and affectionate nature will draw you in, without a doubt. I’m a little (or not-so-little) ray of sunshine, who lives for your cuddles and encouragement. My sociability with dogs of all sizes means that I’m the belle of the ball at the dog park. Although I am in foster care with two large Malamutes, my dogbuddy in my previous home was actually a Jack Russell. My new home should have a young, active male canine companion who can keep up with my boundless energy.

In addition to casual bursts of zoomies and bitey-face with my doggy friend, I’ll also need structured daily exercise with you such as a walk or run. Secure 5ft fencing should be enough to contain me in your yard, but I do enjoy spending time inside the house where you are too. All the better for smooching!

Let’s not forget that I’m still a puppy though. My obedience so far is limited, but I’m an eager learner and need an owner who will continue my training. Motivated by treats and praise, I’ll soon be moulded into a fantastic family addition by the gifts of your time, patience, dedication and consistency. I have lived with a cat before, which I chased relentlessly. Any children in the home should be of primary school age or older. My puppylike enthusiasm means that I can tend to jump on people, but am less excitable after a decent walk or play time. Speaking of play time, I’d really like a welcoming gift in my new home – branches and sticks to chew, some rope toys to play tug with and a supply of squeaky toys to destroy. The life of a pup is a busy one and the more enrichment, the better!
