KENOBI has found his furrytail ending!

Any foster carer will tell you how rewarding it is to give their furry guests the TLC that they've been missing in their previous homes. Plenty of people saw Kenobi's pound photo (top right) and commented "where's the rest of him??" Weighing only a scrawny 26kgs when he left the pound, he was very underweight for an adult male Malamute. It seemed that Brenda, Ken & their son, Ben had their work cut out for them. Thanks to them, after 9 weeks in care and at 8kgs heavier, Kenobi was finally ready for a forever home. But it's like this, you see...as a foster family, when you're a part of a dog's journey like this, part of their transformation, it can make them a little bit harder to let go. The Huntleys had done a wonderful job of making Kenobi healthy and happy. Meanwhile, Kenobi had brought them a lot of happiness too and made himself well and truly at home. So, without further ado, we congratulate the family on their new addition.
