What else was on Boh's bucket list?  Being a star for a day!  He had a photo shoot with Lynn from Pup & Co. Photography, where he posed for the camera like a pro.  He had an awesome time and found the whole thing hilarious!  See below for pics...

Romantic dinner for one?  We can tick that off Boh's bucket list.  The tender steak, the fine china, the luxurious plush tablecloth, the freshly picked flowers....Boh deserves all the finer things in life :)  See below for pics...

 

Introducing:

Boh was inducted with much love into our Twilight Sanctuary in late January 2015.  When Boh came to us in June 2014, we knew that his kidneys weren't in great shape but he was so young at heart that we were sure that if we gave him the best vet care, we could turn things around and ready him for adoption.  Sadly, despite our best efforts, this hasn't happened.

 

Our Bohboh celebrated his 12th birthday on 26th January 2015, but amongst the celebrations it became apparent that he wasn't well.  We soon got the news from the vet that we didn't want to hear.  Boh's kidneys are starting to fail.

 

We are lucky to have such wonderful people working with us.  In consultation with Boh's foster parents, Jessica & Alex, it was decided that he will stay in permanent foster care as part of their family, with the emotional and financial support of SHAMROQ.  Thank you to Jessica & Alex for your selflss decision to nurture and love Boh when he needs it the most.

 

Boh is not in any pain and we are monitoring him carefully to ensure that he does not suffer.  We provide all our special Twilight Sanctuary carers with a Quality of Life scale to use so we always have current information on how our Sanctuary residents are doing.  This means that we can identify any patterns of declining health and can intervene before quality of life is compromised.

 

Boh's foster Mum had the most beautiful idea, and with the help of those who follow the SHAMROQ Facebook page, Jessica is doing a "bucket list" for Boh.  Boh's adventures will be shared via updates and photos below, as well as on our Facebook page, so you can him living his life to the fullest.

 

First up was the pamperfest at La Casa De Pooch, followed by a swim at the beach on a beautiful Queensland summer's day.
