BACARDI has found her furrytail ending!

Bacardi was another of our long-termers who was adamant that she wouldn't settle for anything less than the best. She had been in the excellent care of foster parents, Kirsten & Trent, for a long period when their circumstances changed and they were no longer able to have Bacardi as their guest. This luckily coincided with Ben & Erin contacting us to express their interest in fostering Bacardi in particular.

Our icy-eyed beauty had been in her new digs for less than a week when Ben admitted defeat. Miss Sassypants had him wrapped around her dainty little divalicious paw and she was determined to stay put! We are not-so-secretly thrilled by this turn of events, as Bacardi longed for a permanent home and now she has one that fits her like a glove.

We are so happy that she'll celebrate her 9th birthday in a couple of weeks with her new peeps! Thank you to her Furry Dogmother, Nat, who sponsored her through her stay with us.

Happy furrytail ending, Bacardi!

Smooth and superior, yet with character and still packs a punch. True to my name, I am just like the famous Bacardi white rum. But the good news is that too much of me is a good thing. I will give you that warm fuzzy feeling without the next day hangover! Just like the spirit however, I shouldn’t be mixed with others. I prefer to be your one and only with no other pets of any description. Give me all your love and attention and I will give you mine! I am more than happy to take you for a daily stroll and let you drive me around in your car on weekends. Due to being set in my ways, I would prefer a home with either no children or ones that are closer to teenage in years. Bacardi rum is typically for over 18’s, but we can give a little leeway on this one. I would like a home where I can enjoy the great outdoors, but still have inside time also. I am housetrained and like to be in your company. When I am out in the yard, I'm not a major Houdini but still have the Huskiness that runs through my veins. For that reason, fences should be a minimum of 5ft and secure with no gaps underneath that could be used for digging out. They say that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. The good news is that a) I am not old and b) I have a few tricks down pat, but I am up for learning some more. Toys and games don’t interest me, but treats will work as a valuable currency. The other thing I crave the most is affection and attention from my humans.
