ASPEN has found her furrytail ending!

Congrats to Ellie & Adam, who adopted Aspen as a brother for their Husky girl, Muttley.

As always, our thanks go to hardworking foster carers, Nicky & Darryl, who consistently juggle multiple dogs - their own and fosters.

Happy furrytail ending, Aspen!

You know it, I know it, there's no need to deny it. I'm a spunk! Just take one look at these baby blues and try not to fall in love. But the thing is, having a dog like me comes with great responsibility. Spunk is not just about the outer looks, it's also about the cheeky ratbag on the inside that completes the package!

On one hand I'm social - someone with this face is bound to be popular! With proper introductions, I'd like to share my home with at least one other medium to large dog. But on the other hand, this sociability doesn't extend to small pets, cats or chickens. I couldn't risk losing my Husky street cred by not teaching those pipsqueaks a lesson or two.

I'm also very social with people - I love them all. I'm a go-getter - there are no two ways about it - and I'm a typical Husky when it comes to high energy levels. This energy is sometimes diverted to jumping & bouncing, so it's best that I have a home with older children closer to teenage, and no older people I might accidentally knock over.

Talking about activity levels, I fancy myself as a bit of an athlete. I enjoy a daily walk or jog and will pull on the lead to hurry you up for the first kilometre or so, The more active my family is, the better for me. I'm not an escape artist to the full Husky extent, however I am sneaky and will take advantage of a partially open gate or door as people come through...so be on your game people!! Fences should be at least 5-6ft in height with no gaps underneath.

When thinking about the perfect home that deserves such a spunk as I, it should have a good secure yard, a family to play with and another dog for company. I like to mix up my time inside and outside the house and if there's something you'd like to discuss then you'd better bring the bargaining tools - aka treats.
