Okay, one last awesome piece of news before we call it a night.
Bayley & Codie have caught Husky fever! It wasn't long ago that we announced that they had adopted their foster dog, Holley. Well..they've done it again and added Locky to their little family too. We congratulate them and welcome them to come and see us again if two Huskies aren't quite enough hahaha.
Happy furrytail ending, Locky!
Think Locky and you think Queensland hero. One of the greatest football players of all time and just an all round nice bloke. And then there is me - Locky the dog. I even have the husky voice to match (pun intended!)
I'm a team player, therefore I will need a new home with another dog as a friend. Although they'll need to be big enough to keep up with my play tactics. The more relaxed the better. Little ones just won't make the grade. Cats are not going to work out either sorry - even nice guys can succumb to temptation. One thing to note is that food is an important part of my game prep, so I don't like to share. As long as you feed me separately from my canine brother or sister, then it won't be an issue.
Part of my charm is how I take time out for the kids. I've been around a few in my time and have always been fond of the little ones, from babies up to older ages. Of course, supervision is a must with any interactions though.
Whilst my human counterpart is in retirement, this Locky is still out and about and fighting fit. My training regimen is not so strict - I can get by with a few walks a week. I've been taught to walk nicely on leash and even have a few other tricks up my sleeve. I've never been known as one to escape and get up to any mischief, but then again I've always lived within 6ft fences.
I'm ready to kick back and enjoy the simple life. I'd really like to have a home with people that include me in daily life and let me enjoy a mixture of inside and outside time.
