WHIRL (now Narla) has found her furrytail ending!
StartFragmentWhile her two brothers found themselves wonderful new homes, Whirl waited patiently. The saying goes that 'good things come to those who wait' and sure enough, along came Daniella & Ben, to whisk Miss Whirl away to become part of their family. She is now known as Narla. Her foster parents, Robert & Lisa, are sure to miss her. However, they should be proud of the way that Narla came out of her shell, thanks to the TLC that they provided during her stay.
Happy furrytail ending, Narla! EndFragment
When the SHAMROQ ladies named me, I was a little confused at where on Earth they got Whirl from. Well, I have since found out that it rhymes with my original, but less than original name. It's also quite unique, like me, and there are two meanings that pop up on Google.

Number 1 is "a rapid movement round and round". Well, yes, if that shoe fits then lace that sucker up. Life with me is a whirlwind of fun and energy, topped off with a bit of Mally lovin'. I came into care a little scared of the world as I had never seen beyond the fences I was born behind. However, these days I've blossomed into a pocket rocket of never-ending activity.

For these reasons, I've decided I'd like my forever home to have at least one other medium to large dog who can match my energy levels and likes to play - lots.
I think a few young humans would be fun too, as long as they aren't too little - I'd hate to accidentally knock one over. I've learnt the art of rat and lizard hunting and am like a doggy Katniss Everdeen when it comes to small game animals, so I think any cats would probably be at risk around me.

I'm not interested in climbing so fences of 5ft or higher will be sufficient, however they should be secure with no gaps I can squeeze through or use to dig under with. Now that I know there's more to the world than one little yard, I'd like to see a lot more of it. I'd like to go for a walk at least once a day and be involved in family life as much as possible.

I'm still a puppy who is like a sponge and keen to learn more tricks than the "sit" and "stay" that I have mastered. My love of toys combined with the reward of food would make enrichment toys perfect to entertain me and keep me thinking!
Oh, I almost forgot! The Number 2 definition was "a specified kind of sweet or biscuit with a spiral shape". The shape and biscuit thing are a bit of a stretch, but sweet is definitely a word you could use to describe me.
