HAWKEYE has found his furrytail ending!

We can finally announce with much excitement that Hawkeye is staying put with his amazingly dedicated foster parents, Bek & Yancy and his beloved Husky sister, Zoe!

If you've followed our page for any length of time, you'll be familiar with Hawkeye's story. For the newbies, we suggest checking out Hawkeye's Journey to see just how far this boy has come.

He was in such bad condition on his impoundment almost 6 months ago that he was considered beyond help and not available for rescue. However, we saw something in those soulful eyes of his and refused to take no for an answer. We knew that there was a risk that this may end in heartache for all involved, but we had to take a chance for Hawkeye's sake.

He rose to the challenge. Although he was initially very weak and in extreme pain, this little guy showed an unbelievable amount of courage and fighting spirit throughout his recovery.

It was a long, hard slog, but you all formed a Hawkeye cheer squad, sending encouraging messages and celebrating his little milestones along the way. We could not think of anywhere better for Hawkeye permanently than in Bek & Yancy's arms - and we know that many of you also hoped that they would 'foster-fail'! We must also make special mention of Bec, Ali, Kim, Fiona, Boondall Veterinary Surgery, Better Pets Vet, Pet Cafe Mackay, Sunday Pets Australia & Hairypants Photography for their time, love and care.
