Well, look who got herself adopted? Our real life little teddybear has made herself quite at home with new Mum & Dad, Sheryl & Paul. Thank you to Roxy's foster parents, Robert & Lisa for loving her while she awaited her forever home.
Happy furrytail ending, Roxy!
What if I told you that there is such a thing as a living, breathing teddy bear? Dainty enough to almost tuck under your arm or display on your bed amongst fluffed-up pillows, this petite little teddy bear is happy to receive as many cuddles as you can dish out! My name is Roxy...can I have a hug?
The thing that makes me stand out from Big Ted and those other lazy bears is this - I adore my energetic daily walks and running and playing with doggy friends. I don't have a mean bone in my body - people of all ages and other dogs are all my friends (though I'm not sure if I could be friends with a cat?). If possible, I'd prefer to go to a home that has another dog, but will cope with just human company as long as I'm made to feel like an important part of the family with lots of interaction and love.
Everyone who meets me comments on my sweet and gentle nature. I'm just so lovable that you'll want to pick me up and make me a lap dog! I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you, you'll have scored a loyal friend and snuggle-buddy, a little shadow who is happy to follow you around adoringly. I like hanging out with you at home or taking road trips in the car.
I haven't displayed any escape artist tendencies, so 5ft fencing will be sufficient to keep me safe. I do love to be inside the house with you too though. It goes without saying that I'm housetrained. Curling up in a ball next to your bed, that's where I'll stay all night, safe and happy in the knowledge that you're not far away.
I know all the basics of obedience training and being a real people-pleaser, I just want to make you happy. I don't jump up on people and I obey commands...I'm quite a smart little cookie in fact. Please don't be worried about the missing tips of my ears. They have no effect on my exceptional listening skills - call my name or rustle a treat bag and I'll be at your side in seconds. I would be an excellent 'starter' Husky for someone who hasn't owned the breed before. But, in saying that, even if you've had breed experience, you'll meet me and fall in love.
