Simba

SIBERIAN HUSKY

10 year old female

Location: Sunnybank Hills, Qld

You'll all be aware that my name actually means "Lion" in Swahili.  You'd had to have been living under a rock not to know that one!!  At first you might go "nahhh, she ain't no king of the Lions"...but, you see, us female lion-like chicks can be all kick-ass and have their strength and courage too, you know!

When you first saw my striking Hairypants Photography photos here, you no doubt thought "oh what a cute little cuddly Husky!"  Nope, sorry peeps, there'll be no cuddling or any of that touchy-feely stuff.  I enjoy the odd gentle 'good girl' pat on the head, but all I really want from you is the pleasure of your company.  I just want to be where you are, yet still enjoy my little rotund personal space bubble too.  For these reasons, I won't be suitable in a home with any young children under 10.

Once you get to my refined age, you tend to be a little stubborn and set in your ways.  Nothing wrong with that though, is there?

I like things my way and will need people who are savvy enough to work around my no-go areas (around the neck) and persuade me in other ways (food).  If I don't want to get off the couch then I won't, OK.  It's a Husky thing.  Fencing-wise I don't need Fort Knox.  Just decent, secure fences of at least 5ft with no gaps anywhere that I can contort myself out of.  These days I don't need heaps of exercise either, but a leisurely stroll around the local area most days will keep the body in check.

Everyone likes to think their golden years are spent around great friends and family - think of The Golden Girls if you will.  Like Betty White, I have plenty of years left in me yet, but I'm looking for the perfect home to give me people and dogs to grow old with.  I'd like to have a medium-ish sized male dog or two for company at home, unless you're home nearly 24/7.  They don't have to be into the silly playing and stuff, but just happy to hang out and chat a bit.  I haven't been around cats or small pets, so if you have those, they should be able to be kept separate.

This little round lady of the Lions is looking for her very own pride to rule.  So if you think you might like to provide that, please click Apply below.
